Each year about 4500 Australians are diagnosed with kidney cancer. It is the 6th most common cancer in men and the 10th most common cancer in women.

It is more common in people over 50, but it can occur at any age and it’s not clear what causes most kidney cancers.

Australian Cancer Research Foundation has led to some ground-breaking discoveries in cervical and breast cancer and cancer detection through blood tests… and we are hoping they will find one for renal cancer.
